2/10/09 - Irie Bean show February 21st! With the Hannah Williams Band - An evening of acoustic soul on the back patio. MJ will be playing a short break set at around 8:45 or 9:00 PM. 6/12/08 - Off to Ireland for July & August! I'll be hanging in and around Cork during the late summer months, back in Austin this fall. XOXO!

1/7/08 - Happy New Year! May you be well, and may all beings manifest lovingkindness and compassion in 2008. I'll be hosting open-mic / talent events at the Austin Shambhala Center and the Texas State Writing Center this winter and spring - check the calendar page for details.

7/7/07 - On Hiatus - Many heartfelt thanks to all our friends across the country who have come out to our shows and helped us create many wonderful musical memories over the past four years! M.J. Baby & The Last Word is on hiatus, at least for the time being, but you can find Melinda's upcoming shows on the calendar section of this website.

4/5/07 - Hyperactive Music Festival / New Mexico & Colorado Tour in May - We've been invited to play at the 2007 Hyperactive Music Festival and Conference in Albuquerque, May 17-19! In addition to the festival, we'll be touring throughout New Mexico and Colorado during the second half of May - check our calendar for dates, times, and locations.
